A Lesson in Procrastimaking...
Sometimes instead of working on what I'm supposed to be doing (a novel, a screenplay, etc.), I get distracted into making stuff just for fun.
Example: yesterday I ambled around the Barkey estate with my son, taking pictures. The one of the random car across the road in front of the blooming trees reminded me of something from the HBO show TRUE DETECTIVE, so this morning I made it my facebook cover photo. Then I figured I needed a profile picture to match it, so I scoured the internets for one I could fuse with a picture I already had of myself. I ended up making several versions before I found one I really liked. And that, dear internet-amigos, is how an artist wastes a day.
