Everything is Awesome in Legoland!
On Friday I picked up my son and his step-brother from school and drove like a banshee, trying to get to the theater by four o'clock for the film-extravaganza of the decade... the LEGO MOVIE.
If you know my son, you know he's obsessed with legos. He spends most of his free time playing with them, and we've been making stop-motion lego movies together since he was a wee lad. So even though my budget is super-tight, there was absolutely no way I wasn't going to be seeing this one in the theater opening weekend.
It was a seriously fun time. Seriously. Maybe not like, "Fantastic Mr. Fox" classic-for-all-eternity... but still a really great picture. And that song. I just can't get it out of my head. Enjoy:
