In case you failed to notice, I like bright, bold colors, animals, and tiny moments of awesomeness.

Living in Waxhole, North Carolina isn't exactly a life's dream for me, but that's the way my cookie has crumbled, and it certainly has its perks.

Fortunately, I have a four-year-old who likes to tromp through the woods, reminding me that, yes, a few globs of sap on a plum tree are pretty much the most gorgeous gems on God's multicolored earth.
