call me... MISTER Artistman!
I thought you (which is to say, the disembodied, disconnected collective that is the internet hive-mind) might be interested to know that at the end of this school year I will no longer be a professing art teacher... as in, a dude who gets a steady paycheck and health insurance and all that, just for showing other people how to make stuff.
I have decided that this is awesome, and am seeking out a path that will allow me to continue to feed my son actual food without having to eat grass and tree-bark myself to do it, whilst at the same time re-calibrating my work-life so that more of it is focused on the actual making of personalized objects of makingness.
The short and the fat of it is that after May of this year, I will most likely be inviting you to join me on a grand adventure - which shall henceforth be known as: "Josh Barkey's Walk Away from Fear and into the Light of Creative Awesome."
You're welcome.

Wow, big step! The older you get the harder it is to make these kinds of changes so go for it!
